We are seeking an exceptional Physics teacher to join our Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science department. This pivotal role is crucial to our mission of fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and entrepreneurial spirit among our students and staff. Physics is a cornerstone of our curriculum, essential for achieving our vision of being the launchpad for the next generation of innovative science and technology leaders and entrepreneurs.

You will also nurture a spirit of creativity and entrepreneurism to enable our students to be the pioneers of tomorrow.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Be a contributing member of the team of innovative and reflective practitioners.
  • Teach classes in Physics, leading by example through your own dynamic approach to teaching and learning in your classroom.
  • Foster a passion for learning and expand knowledge and understanding in Physics.
  • Shape and implement a pioneering approach to education in these fields.
  • Create an environment that nurtures a spirit of inquiry and creativity.
  • Inspire students to excel in IGCSE and A-Level examinations, international competitions, Olympiads and scientific research projects.
  • Ensure true subject mastery and excellence in curriculum design.
  • Develop strategies to help talented students perform outstandingly in all academic and extracurricular endeavors.
  • Be actively involved in the co-curricular activities of the school.
Qualifications and Experience:
 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Preferably have an EU passport or already have the right to work in Spain.
  • Hold a Master’s degree or Doctorate in Physics or a related field.
  • Valid Teaching Qualification - PGCE/BEd or equivalent, EU-recognised preferred.
  • Strong experience in international schools, with experience of teaching British Curriculum Physics, including a track record of success in competitive international examinations.
  • Strong knowledge of, and experience in nurturing inquiry-based, interdisciplinary, project-based, and research skills, and their application in real-world contexts.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
  • Accomplished in using technology and digital tools to enhance learning and teaching.
  • Familiarity with current international standards and best practices in Physics pedagogy
